House Rules & Guest Policies

🌿 Harmony & Coexistence We are a sanctuary for rest. To ensure everyone enjoys the magic of the Historic Center:

• Respect is Key: We have a Zero Tolerance Policy for harassment or discrimination of any kind towards guests or staff.

• Quiet Hours: From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum in rooms and hallways.

• Socializing: Alcohol consumption is permitted in common areas (moderately) until 10:30 PM.

• Smoking: Strictly prohibited in rooms. You are welcome to smoke on the terrace in designated areas.

🛏️ Your Stay

• Check-in: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM. (Arriving later? Let us know in advance!).

• Check-out: Before 11:00 AM.

• Visitors: For security, visitors are not allowed in rooms. Short visits in common areas must be approved by management.

• Kitchen Use: Feel free to use the dishes, but please wash them after use.

• Pet Policy: We love dogs! (Medium size, max 25kg). Pre-notice required. Cost: $15 per pet.

💳 Reservations & Payments

• To Confirm: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The rest is due upon arrival.

• Last Minute: Reservations made within 48 hours of arrival must be paid in full.

• Exchange Rate: For USD cash payments, we use a fixed rate of $1 USD = Q8 GTQ.

• Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable.

🔒 Security & Identification

• IDs Required: By law, all guests must present a valid Passport or Official ID.

• Minors: Must be accompanied by parents/guardians with proof of relationship (Guatemalan Law against Trafficking).

• Valuables: Please use the lockers provided. Casa Kemé is not responsible for lost items in rooms.

• Care: Any damage to property will be charged to the guest.
